Coach James Riley transformed an underdog beginning into an 11-year MLS career built on discipline, elite habits, and relentless personal growth. He earned a full-ride scholarship to Wake Forest, captained the #1-ranked team in the nation, and went on to play 251 MLS games, winning ten major trophies and earning multiple humanitarian honors along the way.
After his playing career, James served in league leadership as the Director of Player Relations & Competition at Major League Soccer, and coached at the highest levels of youth and semi-pro development (ECNL, U23, USL2). He understands every step of the player pathway from youth, to college, to the pros.
